Milt Newton has insisted that the Minnesota Timberwolves will try to hold on to Kevin Love this off-season.
The power forward, who averaged 26.1 points per game during the 2013-14 campaign, has been linked with a move away from the team this off-season.
The general manager told The AP: "We'll do what's best for the organisation. He's a hell of a player, a hell of a talent. Our first inclination is to keep him on board. If that's not the case, you best believe we'll be a better team based on what happens."
Love can opt out of his contract with the team after next season.
