Minnesota Timberwolves star Kevin Love has been the subject of speculation after an NBA executive claimed that "he wants to go to the Lakers".

Love lashed out at his teammates on Wednesday night after his frustration with the bench boiled over.

"They should trade him. No-one thinks he's staying. Everyone knows he wants to go to the Lakers," one Eastern Conference executive said, CBS Sports reports.

Love will have the option of opting out of his contract in the summer of 2015, although he has given no indication of where he sees his future yet.
