The Minnesota Timberwolves have reportedly made "significant process" in their attempts to hire Dave Joerger.
The team were given permission to speak to the Memphis Grizzlies coach earlier this week, and met with him yesterday.
According to ESPN, the two sides would have to agree a compensation deal for Joerger to make the move, but the deal has been "gathering momentum".
The Timberwolves are looking for a new coach following Rick Adelman's retirement.
