Veteran point guard Andre Miller has signed a one-year deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves, according to his agent.
The 39-year-old started the 2014-15 season with the Washington Wizards, but was then traded to the Sacramento Kings where he played out the campaign before his contract ended.
Miller was allowed to leave the club at the end of the year, but he has now been handed the chance to extend his career into its 17th season by signing a one-year contract with the Timberwolves.
"He's very excited about the opportunity," the player's agent Andy Miller told the AP.
"He was sold on the direction of the team and the veteran leadership he could provide to a promising young roster. He felt it was a good fit for him."
Miller has averaged 12.8 points per game in his career.
