The Minnesota Timberwolves have reportedly expressed an interest in making a late bid to bring Kevin Garnett to the team on NBA trade deadline day.
The power forward spent the first eight years of his career with the Timberwolves before moving to the Boston Celtics in 2007.
ESPN reports that Minnesota have spoken to the 38-year-old's current side, the Brooklyn Nets, over a deal which would send Thaddeus Young in the opposite direction.
However, Garnett's contract has a no-trade clause, which would give him the final say on any potential moves.
