New Orleans Pelicans forward Anthony Davis could be ruled out for up to two weeks with a shoulder injury.
The 21-year-old sustained the problem in his side's 105-91 victory over the Miami Heat as he collided with Hassan Whiteside while attempting a shot in the first quarter.
Davis underwent an MRI scan which proved that he had sprained his right shoulder and as a result he is expected to be ruled out for up to two weeks.
The forward is averaging 23.9 points per game for the Pelicans this season.
