The New Orleans Pelicans have reportedly strengthened their backcourt options by signing veteran guard Nate Robinson.
Starting point guard Jrue Holiday is currently on a minutes restriction due to fitness issues, while Norris Cole has been ruled out for six weeks after injuring his ankle in pre-season training camp.
The Pelicans have already confirmed the addition of Bo McCalebb, but the arrival of Robinson is also believed to be close to completion.
According to ESPN, the 31-year-old has agreed a one-year deal at the veteran's minimum.
Robinson played 33 games for the Denver Nuggets last season before appearing nine times in a short spell with the Los Angeles Clippers.
