New York Knicks point guard Raymond Felton has been arrested on multiple charges relating to possession of a firearm.
A police spokesman has confirmed that the 29-year-old was in possession of a gun that he wasn't registered to have, while he also allegedly threatened his wife, ESPN reports.
Felton turned himself in early on Tuesday morning, just hours after playing in the Knicks' loss to the Dallas Mavericks at Madison Square Garden on Monday.
He signed a three-year deal with the franchise before last season, but has struggled on the court this year and was reportedly offered in several packages ahead of the trade deadline last Thursday.
