New York Knicks point guard Beno Udrih has requested a trade, according to ESPNNewYork.com sources.
The 31-year-old has reportedly communicated his wishes to the Knicks, who in turn are expected to honour his request.
Udrih signed with the franchise over the summer and had hoped to become a part of the three-man rotation along with Raymond Felton and Pablo Prigioni.
However, he is averaging just 5.9 points and 3.7 assists in 19.9 minutes per game and is hopeful of securing a move before the trade deadline.
