Mike Budenholzer has been named as the new head coach of the Atlanta Hawks.
Budenholzer, 43, is a long-time assistant coach and he has spent 19 seasons with the San Antonio Spurs.
He will stay with the Spurs until the end of their current playoff run before taking up the Hawks role where he replaces Larry Drew, who left the position at the end of the Hawks' playoff run when his contract expired.
