Paul Sturgess has revealed that he is relishing the prospect of featuring in the British Basketball League after signing a deal with Cheshire Phoenix.
Sturgess, who at 7'7" is the tallest player in the world, has spent time in the United States before being given the opportunity to return to England.
The 26-year-old is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "I have been enjoying my time back in England and the chance to play in the BBL whilst I am here is something I will relish.
"I am excited to join my new teammates and hope to fulfil whatever role is given to me."
Sturgess has been recorded as being the second tallest living Englishman.
