Oklahoma City Thunder centre Enes Kanter will be out for up to six weeks after knee surgery.
The 22-year-old only joined the Thunder two months ago and had started all 26 matches before they missed the playoffs.
Kanter has undergone successful arthroscopic surgery on his left knee and will return to off-season work within four to six weeks.
The player averages 18.7 points in his 26 games for the Thunder.
