Oklahoma City Thunder coach Scott Brooks has revealed that Russell Westbrook could return against the Miami Heat later today.
The point guard has not played since injuring his knee on boxing day, but practised with the team for the first time since undergoing surgery earlier this week.
Brooks told reporters: "We'll see how he feels [later]. It's only been one practice. Russell looked good. His timing was pretty good, it's always about being in game shape. But guys, all I can say is he looked really good [Wednesday] in practice. We'll see how he feels [later] and then we'll go from there."
Westbrook is the team's second-highest points scorer this season, behind Kevin Durant.
