The San Antonio Spurs have been beaten for the first time in 20 games, losing 106-94 to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
There was little between the two sides in the first half, but the Thunder pulled away from the Western Conference leaders with a strong second-half performance.
Kevin Durant was the team's top scorer with 28, while Russell Westbrook added 27 as the home side opened up a 16-point advantage in the third quarter.
Patty Mills, Kawhi Leonard and Tim Duncan were all among the points for San Antonio, and were able to cut the lead in half late on, before Westbrook re-established the Thunder's advantage with just over five minutes left to play.
The result, which is the Thunder's fourth win of the season over the Spurs, leaves Oklahoma City three wins behind the conference leaders with eight fixtures still to play before the playoffs.
