Jahlil Okafor has said that his role in his first season in the NBA will be to "dominate" for the Philadelphia 76ers.
The Atlantic Division side used the third overall pick in the Draft to acquire the former Duke center, who helped the college win the 2015 NCAA title.
The 19-year-old told the Washington Post: "My role is to dominate. I'm one of the centerpieces of the team, so my role is the same."
Okafor, who scored 20 points for the Sixers on his debut in the NBA Summer League, averaged 17.3 points per game in 32 appearances for Duke last season.
