Phoenix Suns general manager Ryan McDonough has described the team as "excited" by the signing of Dionte Christmas.
The shooting guard has never played in the NBA regular season, having had spells in Greece, Russia and Turkey earlier in his career.
McDonough told the team's official website: "We're excited to add Dionte to our roster.
"He was a key contributor for our Las Vegas Summer League team and his scoring ability, leadership and toughness will help us this season."
Christmas was the Greek league's leading scorer in 2012.
