Terry Stotts has said that the Portland Trail Blazers' defense "stayed solid" to clinch a win over the Denver Nuggets.
The Blazers needed a series of late shots to seal the 100-95 win, leaving them fifth in the Western Conference standings.
The coach told reporters: "It was a difficult game. We did a lot of good things, made some big plays defensively to win it at the end.
"The offense kind of shut down in the fourth quarter but our defense stayed solid, and to get a win like this in Denver is something we needed to do."
The Blazers have won their last three games in a row.
