LeBron James could not prevent the Los Angeles Lakers slipping to a 110-106 defeat to the San Antonio Spurs.
James led the Lakers with 35 points but 30 from the DeMar DeRozan helped the Spurs claim victory and improve their record to 3-2.
Ricky Rubio led the Utah Jazz to a 132-11 win over the New Orleans Pelicans.
Rubio had 28 points and was well supported by Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell, who weighed in with 25 and 22 respectively.
Jaylen Brown had 19 points as the Boston Celtics overcame the Detroit Pistons 109-89.
The Miwaukee Bucks made it six wins out of six with a 113-91 win over the Orlando Magic and the Cleveland Cavaliers suffered a sixth consecutive loss, going down 119-107 to the Indiana Pacers.
Elsewhere, the Chicago Bulls beat the Atlanta Hawks 97-85, the Philadelphia 76ers got the better of the Charlotte Hornets 105-103, the Memphis Heat overcame the Portland Trail Blazers 120-111 and the Memphis Grizzlies saw off the Phoenix Suns 117-96.
