San Antonio Spurs power forward Tim Duncan has spoken out about the tough conditions in game one of the NBA Finals.
The Spurs faced the Miami Heat and took a 1-0 lead as the air conditioning at the AT&T Center broke down, leaving Heat star LeBron James to suffer from cramp with just under four minutes remaining.
"I think [LeBron] asked out of the game once or twice before that, so we knew he was getting tired but we were all getting tired out there," Virgin Islands-born Duncan told reporters after the encounter.
"I don't think I've played in anything like this since I left the islands."
Game two gets underway on Sunday, with officials confirming that the air conditioning issue has now been resolved.
