Manu Ginobili has admitted that the San Antonio Spurs need Tony Parker to quickly return from the back injury which forced him off the court on Sunday night.
Parker left the court in the first quarter of the 112-92 win over the Memphis Grizzlies due to back spasms, and will have an MRI scan on Monday to find out the full extent of the problem.
"Hopefully it's nothing," Ginobili told reporters when asked about Parker's condition. "He was just sore in his lower back.
"We just have to hope it's a couple-of-days thing. Of course, we're a different team without him. We need him healthy and strong for the playoffs."
San Antonio are top of the Western Conference ahead of the playoffs, which begin later this month.
