Spain have qualified for the men's basketball final with a 67-59 win over Russia at the North Greenwich Arena.

The Spaniards were on the back foot during the first quarter and in a low-scoring period, the Russians took a 12-9 lead.

Russia further improved in the second quarter and Sasha Kaun was able to lead his team to an 11-point advantage at half-time.

Pau Gasol started to become more prominent for Spain in the third period, with Russia struggling to deal with the variation of attacks from their opponents.

The match was level at the end of the third quarter, with signs of nerves starting to creep into Russia's play.

Spain produced their best basketball of the match in the final period to completely dominate a tired Russian side and win by eight points.
