The Toronto Raptors have announced that Quentin Richardson has been waived.
The small forward and shooting guard's departure from the team comes less than two months after he was acquired in a trade with the New York Knicks.
The 33-year-old has averaged 10.3 points per game during his 13-year career in the NBA.
The Raiders will play the Boston Celtics in their opening pre-season game next month.
