Sports Mole brings you a roundup of all of Saturday night's NBA action.

The Detroit Pistons have scored their highest points tally in regulation time since 2008, as they beat the Denver Nuggets 126-109 at the Palace of Auburn Hills on Saturday night.

Brandon Jennings scored a season-high 35 points and added 12 assists for Detroit, while Josh Smith had 30 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists to help the hosts end a six-game losing streak against Denver.

In Minnesota, the Portland Trail Blazers scored over 100 points away from home as they edged to a 117-110 defeat of the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Portland had been down until the fourth quarter, but came from behind in the final stages to grab the win, thanks largely to impressive performances from LaMarcus Aldridge and Wesley Matthews.

Aldridge scored 10 of his 26 points in the third quarter and Matthews bagged 13 of his 21 points in the fourth to help pave the way for a comeback victory at the Target Center on Saturday night.

The Phoenix Suns turned on the style to move into second place in the Pacific Division with their 122-109 victory against the Golden State Warriors, with forward Goran Dragic grabbing a career-best 34 points in the game.

Dragic only needed 13 shots to make his total for the night, which also saw him add 10 assists, while Gerald Green added 23 points and P.J. Tucker notched 16 points, 15 rebounds and four steals for the visitors.

Meanwhile, in Charlotte, the San Antonio Spurs stole a 104-100 victory against the Charlotte Bobcats at the Time Warner Cable Arena.

The night saw Patty Mills grab a game-and season-high 32 points for the Spurs, with the point guard scoring 18 points in the final quarter to make Al Jefferson's 26-point tally redundant.

At the Bradley Center, in Wisconsin, the Houston Rockets continued their good form with a 101-95 win against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Dwight Howard scored 27 points and also led Houston with 13 rebounds and five assists as the Rockets led for all but a few seconds, with the visitors also helped by a big contribution from James Harden who added 22 points.

The win means that the Rockets now move percentage points ahead of the Los Angeles Clippers for fourth spot in the Western Conference.

Saturday's lowest-scoring affair saw the Memphis Grizzles record a 79-76 away win over the Atlanta Hawks at the Philips Arena to end a two-game losing streak.

Zach Randolph shone for Memphis as he scored 20 points, while Courtney Lee added 10 of his 14 in the third quarter, as the Grizzlies somehow edged to victory, despite a poor second quarter where only 10 points were scored by their offensive players.

Finally, the Utah Jazz managed to make it the fifth straight year that they have beaten the Miami Heat at least once, as they recorded a 94-89 victory at the EnergySolutions Arena.

The Jazz were pushed over the line by important showings from Marvin Williams and Richard Jefferson, who scored 23 and 14 points respectively, before Trey Burke hit a game-clinching shot in the last minute of the encounter to give the Jazz an important home victory.
