Utah Jazz have decided not to offer Gordon Hayward a contract extension and he will therefore be a restricted free agent next summer.
As a result of the decision, any team can now make an offer but the Jazz have the right to match it.
The franchise and the 23-year-old were unable to agree on the financial aspects of the new deal, according to Yahoo Sports.
Hayward joins both Eric Bledsoe and Avery Bradley as players who were unable to agree on contract extensions to their rookie deals.
