The Utah Jazz have recorded their first win of 2014 following a 96-87 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday evening.
The Jazz were inspired by match-winning performances from Gordon Hayward who notched 22 points and Derrick Favors who collected 21 and 11 rebounds to lead their side to victory.
Utah had maintained a double-digit lead throughout the game, but had to resist a final-quarter fightback as Larry Sanders (16) and Luke Ridnour (12) sought to restore some pride for the Bucks.
The result sees Utah sitting in fifth place in the Northwest Division with a record of 11-24.
