Washington Wizards head coach Randy Wittman revealed that he was proud of his players following the defeat to the Miami Heat on Monday night.
Despite heading into the final quarter on level terms, the Wizards were unable to avoid a 99-90 loss but Wittman refused to be negative after the game.
"I'm proud of our guys," the Washington coach told reporters. "They kept battling, working. We didn't shoot it the way we're capable of.
"We got some good looks. We shared the ball. We attacked the whole game."
The result ensured that the Heat will be competing in the playoffs once again.
