Puerto Rico's Jeyvier Cintron has overcome Botswana's Oteng Oteng with a narrow two-point victory in the Olympic flyweight class.
The first round proved to be a fairly even contest, though the cleaner shots were coming from the gloves of the Puerto Rican, who landed a nice right uppercut that pierced Oteng's guard.
Oteng provided plenty of movement and was the aggressor throughout the second round, but once again Cintron rarely spared a shot and was the more accurate of the two.
With the scores level heading into the decider, Oteng continued to box at velocity, wearing his opponent down.
Two nice right hands from the Botswanian found the target, but the judges were not impressed and the Puerto Rican triumphed 14-12.
