Canada boxer Custio Clayton believes that this is 'his time' at the Commonwealth Games.
The welterweight booked his spot in the quarter-finals of the competition after overcoming Carl Field, who offered the impression that he thought he had beaten the Canadian.
"I was very confident that I had won. It is a part of boxing – other boxers always think they have won, but I knew I had it and the judges saw it," he told Sports Mole.
"I felt great out there. This is my time right now and I am just ready to move on to the next fight."
Clayton's quarter-final opponent is Northern Ireland's Steven Donnelly.
