Canadian welterweight Custio Clayton has beaten Mexico's Oscar Molina Casillas in a cagey welterweight contest.
The first round was a bit of a chess match as both men sized each other up.
Clayton attempted to force the issue in the second and found the Mexican's body with a few decent blows.
Molina was finding the Canadian's gloves too often and fell 6-3 behind heading into the third round.
The pace picked up in the final three minutes as Molina landed a telling left-hook to Clayton's chin.
Clayton responded with a quick combination, again working Molina's body well.
The Mexican went looking for the knockout punch as the seconds ticked away, but it was not there and the Canadian advanced 12-8.
