China's Meng Fanglong has crushed Ahmed Barki of Morocco by nine points to advance into the last 16 of the Olympic light-heavyweight class.
Meng boxed well in the opening round, landing a few decent lefts from his southpaw stance to take a 4-2 lead.
A big shot from Meng sent Barki off balance early in the second, forcing the referee to call break - however, no count was given.
The China fighter was controlling the contest and unleashed a great combination in the closing stages to extend his commanding lead to six points.
Meng continued to dominate in the final round but was docked two points for a low blow.
However, the Moroccan had no answer to the skill of Meng, who ran out a comfortable 17-8 winner.
