Adilbek Niyazymbetov has strolled to an eight-point triumph over Ecuadorian light heavyweight Carlos Gongora.
It was Niyazymbetov who made the better start to the bout as he peppered the Ecuadorian with a string of well-timed left hands.
The Kazakh was looking comfortbale until Gongora found the target with a stiff left hand that kept Niyazymbetov on his toes.
The Ecuadorian decided to trade with Niyazymbetov but was coming off worse. The referee was forced to step in when Niyazymbetov was all over him.
Gongora gave up easily in the final round and had accepted his fate long before the judges had awarded Niyazymbetov a 13-5 victory.
