Commonwealth Games gold medallist Nicola Adams has said that Michaela Walsh provided a "tough" test in the final of the women's flyweight section on Saturday.
Adams picked up the gold medal on points, but admitted that she "always knew that it was going to be a tough fight".
"I always knew it was going to be a tough fight, when you get in the ring for the finals you both want to win so it is always going to be tough. I am glad that everybody enjoyed the match, it was a close contest. Supporters want to see the best fight the best," she told reporters.
"I was confident. You always have to be confident in boxing. You cannot go in there thinking you are going to lose. I thought I had done enough to win."
Adams also won gold at the 2012 Olympics.
