Nicola Adams has said that she has tried to shun her post-London 2012 fame.
The 31-year-old made history two years ago when she became the world's first female Olympic boxing champion.
"Winning at London 2012 helped me work out the people who are real - my friends and family - and the people who are fake," she told BBC Sport.
"Don't get me wrong, there are times when it's really cool being treated special. But mostly I just like being what I was.
"I'm still Nicola Adams from Yorkshire, I still walk my dog in the same field I always have done."
Adams squares off against Oluwatoyin Oladeji on Monday evening.
