Team England boxer Anthony Fowler believes that he is now "one of the best in the world".
Fowler spoke to Sports Mole following his quarter-final win over Nickson Otieno Abaka at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
The middleweight called Abaka "a very tough opponent", but was always confident of moving into the semi-finals of the competition.
"I feel like I could do what I wanted, to be honest. I have been in the ring with Carl Froch so I am coming down a few levels here. I believe that I am one of the best in the world now," said Fowler.
"The lad was a very tough opponent, but he was not on my level."
Fowler, who has secured at least a bronze, will meet Benny Muziyo in the semi-finals on Friday.
