Kazakhstan's Serik Sapiyev has strolled to a 25-11 win over Japan's Yasuhiro Suzuki.
The Kazakh got the better of the first round, taking full control to open up a three-point cushion as they entered the second.
The Japanese looked to be struggling with an injury as he took his seat in between rounds, which did nothing to help his effort.
Sapiyev continued to dominate the contest, forcing a standing count with a straight right to extend his advantage to 10 points.
Suzuki took further punishment and was completely overwhelmed as Sapiyev secured the last quarter-final spot in the welterweight tournament.
