New Zealand boxer Alexis Pritchard has admitted that she would have preferred for the draw to have been seeded at this summer's Commonwealth Games.
Pritchard, who will not find out her first opponent until Thursday, has also claimed that every fighter will need "a bit of luck" to land on the podium.
"The draw is important, but it is a combination of luck. They are not seeding the draw at this competition, so I could strike anything from the top to the bottom on the first fight," she told reporters at a press conference.
"A bit of luck would be nice... I am not sure why they have decided not to seed it.
"I would have liked to have been seeded. I would probably have been in the top two so that would have been helpful."
