WBO super-middleweight champion Arthur Abraham has insisted that there is no danger of complacency ahead of his world title showdown with Paul Smith.
The Armenian-born German representative is a clear favourite to retain his belt against the British challenger, but he has revealed that he will not underestimate the Liverpudlian, who has earned his opportunity with four successive victories.
At a public workout ahead of the fight, the 34-year-old said: "I have not underestimated Smith. If anything, I have overestimated him.
"I always expect to face the best when I step into the ring and prepare accordingly. I'm in top shape and ready to defend my title on Saturday night."
British world title contenders Stephen Smith and Matthew Macklin will feature on the undercard in Germany.
