British cruiserweight Tony Bellew believes that he won't become a world champion if he loses to Valery Brudov on Saturday night.

Bellew is making his debut in the division after opting to move up from light heavyweight, but the Liverpudlian has insisted that it is the "be all or end all" for him when he steps into the ring at the Echo Arena on Saturday night.

The 31-year-old told Sky Sports News: "It's the be all or end all. It's that big. If I can't beat Valery Brudov, then I'm not going to be a world champion and I just don't think that there's much point in carrying on to be totally honest, so this is it for me.

"Make no mistake, this is a tough fight, this guy has got more knockouts than I've had fights.

"He's tried, tested and proven, he's solid, and the look in his eye says that he's coming to win, he's not coming here for a pay day, to make up the numbers, and he is coming to win."

Bellew failed in his attempt to win the WBC light-heavyweight title in October when he was stopped inside six rounds by Adonis Stevenson.
