Dmitry Bivol solidified his status as one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in boxing with a masterful victory over Gilberto Ramirez in Abu Dhabi.
On the back of shocking Canelo Alvarez in May, WBA light-heavyweight champion Bivol was keen to make another statement against his fellow unbeaten fighter.
While Ramirez had size in his favour, he was outfought and outclassed by Bivol, who was regularly able to put together combinations to keep the Mexican at bay.
As the rounds ticked by, it was clear that Ramirez required a stoppage, but it never looked likely and Bivol ultimately prevailed by scores of 118-110, 117-111 and 117-111 respectively.
In the chief-support, Chantelle Cameron became the undisputed world super-lightweight champion with an impressive showing against Jessica McCaskill.
Despite what had been billed as a 50-50 fight, Cameron was superb from start to finish against a reckless McCaskill, who performed well below the fighter who is undisputed in the weight class above.
Although the American came back into the fight during the second half of the contest, Cameron fully deserved her 97-93, 96-94 and 96-94 verdicts.
Zelfa Barrett's bid to win the IBF super-featherweight title ended in failure as he was stopped in the ninth round by Shavkatdzhon Rakhimov.
However, Barrett produced one of the performances of his career, dropping his unbeaten opponent in the third round and was likely leading on the cards heading into the final third of the fight.
In the ninth, though, Rakhimov made the breakthrough as Barrett, who was on unsteady legs for much of the round, was dropped twice before the referee called a halt to the fight as the towel was about to come in from his corner.
Olympic gold medalist Galal Yafai continued the unbeaten start to his professional career with a split-decision victory in his flyweight contest with Gohan Rodriguez, prevailing by scorecards of 96-94 and 96-95 with Rodriguez getting a 96-65 verdict in his favour.
On his first outing for over two-and-a-half years, Kal Yafai - Galal's brother - had to overcome a first-round knockdown to edge out Jerald Paclar on points, winning 96-93, 96-93 and 95-94 respectively. body check tags ::
