Kell Brook has revealed that he is "excited" to see what he is capable of in the ring ahead of his IBF welterweight bout with Shawn Porter next month.
The English fighter faces the defending champion in California on August 16, and he is confident of stepping up to the challenge on the highest stage as he looks to win his first world title.
"I want to see what I can do," Brook told Sky Sports News. "I'm excited to see myself.
"I know I always rise to the occasion and I feel I've got many more gears to go through, that people haven't yet seen. On the 16th I think you will see the very best of me, so far.
"Once we wind it down I will have done some quality, quality, dig-deep-down training. I will have been working hard for 16 weeks. But we've been working smartly, too."
Brook has won all 32 of his professional bouts, while Porter has recorded 24 victories and one draw in his career.
