Canadian boxer Lucian Bute has said that he wants a rematch with Carl Froch, despite his defeat to the Englishman on Saturday night.
Froch bombarded his opponent before claiming victory in the fifth in Nottingham, securing the IBF super-middleweight crown from Bute.
"Every athlete has to admit defeat. Great champions need to know to lose. I have to learn from this defeat," Bute told boxingfutures.com.
"This is not the end of the world. I don't think that it's the end of my career.
"I need to relax. It was a great mental load. I need time for my return. On Saturday night, Carl Froch was better."
Bute, who had a 30-fight unbeaten run before Saturday's defeat, added that he may not fight Froch for the IBF belt he lost but would still like a rematch.
