The deal for the much-anticipated Canadian light-heavyweight superbout between Lucian Bute and Jean Pascal was signed today.
Romanian-born Bute will put his NABF title on the line on May 25 in an attempt to line up an IBF rematch with Carl Froch.
"This fight will mark a historic moment for boxing in Canada," said promoter Groupe Yvon Michel.
"Emotions will be high and the memories will be engraved in the collective memory forever."
Interbox president Jean Bedard added: "This is the fight that everyone has been waiting for, even the casual fan. It was an honour to help finalise it.
"All parties were anxious to reach an agreement and now boxing fans across the world can expect a spectacular show on May 25."
It is understood that the fight will take place in Montreal.
