Dereck Chisora has issued an apology for the part that he played in his brawl with fellow British boxer David Haye on Saturday evening.
Chisora was arrested as a result of the incident that occurred during the post-fight press conference following his defeat to Vitali Klitschko.
Having had time to reflect on his actions, the 28-year-old has admitted that he is full of regret.
"Following the extensive media coverage that my WBC World Heavyweight title challenge against Vitali Klitschko in Munich at the weekend has attracted, I feel I must wholeheartedly apologise for my part in the regretable scenes both before and after what was to be the biggest night of my career," Chisora said in a statement.
Earlier today Haye released a statement that laid the blame for the incident at Chisora's feet.
