British heavyweight Dereck Chisora has revealed that he is hoping to send out a message to Tyson Fury with a dominant performance against Kevin Johnson on Saturday night.
The two Brits will meet if they can both win at the Copper Box Arena, and despite Johnson never being stopped during his 34-fight career, Chisora is confident of making a statement against the durable American.
The 30-year-old is quoted by Ham & High as saying: "Johnson's a good strong American fighter with a good reputation – just what I need to make me perform to my best.
"He's a tough boy, he's taken Fury and Vitali Klitschko the distance, and if I can become the first man to stop him, then it sends a big message to Fury and the rest of the heavyweights out there."
Fury will face Joey Abell on the undercard in London.
