WBO light-heavyweight champion Nathan Cleverly will find out next week whether he will defend his world title against Robin Krasniqi in February.
Promoters are expected to make bids to the WBO on December 19 regarding whom the Welsh fighter should face in his next title defence.
Cleverly is currently due to face Krasniqi within 90 days of his last bout, where he outclassed Shawn Hawk in November by stopping his American opponent in the eighth round.
However, in the event that a unification bout is scheduled with either Chad Dawson, Beibut Shumenov or Tavoris Cloud, a fight with Krasniqi would be put on the backburner.
The 25-year-old is currently unbeaten in 25 professional fights.
