Nathan Cleverly has admitted that he needs to prove his capabilities at cruiserweight in his rematch with rival Tony Bellew in Liverpool on Saturday night.
Both men have moved up a weight class after devastating world-title defeats to Sergey Kovalev and Adonis Stevenson last year, but Cleverly has acknowledged that he has questions to answer after losing his WBO light-heavyweight title 15 months ago.
The 27-year-old told Sky Sports News: "There are a lot of question marks because it's how can I respond after the Kovalev fight against a big puncher.
"We are going to find out on fight night but I'm sure that I am going to react in a positive way. This is the acid test and I am out to answer those questions. I'm ready for it and I've prepared for it well. It's just a matter of executing it now and I can't wait."
The first encounter between the two British fighters ended with Cleverly out-pointing Bellew in October 2011.
