British boxer James DeGale has insisted that he is "raring to go" ahead of his WBC silver super-middleweight title fight on Saturday night.
The 26-year-old faces former IBO middleweight champion Fulgencio Zuniga at the Hull Sports Arena and while DeGale acknowledges that it won't be easy against his South American opponent, the Olympic gold medallist has revealed that he is treating the fight as a "stepping stone".
DeGale told BBC Sport: "Me boxing for this belt is just a stepping stone towards the real world title, but I'm boxing a tough, tough opponent.
"I'm looking forward to a hard fight but I have trained extremely hard, I'm raring to go."
DeGale has won 13 of his 14 professional fights.
