British super-middleweight James DeGale has insisted that he is "good to go" after being placed into a final eliminator for the WBC title.
DeGale has been instructed to face unbeaten fighter Badou Jack, with the bout scheduled to take place on March 1, and the former Olympic gold medallist has admitted that he is ready to seize the opportunity "with both hands".
The 27-year-old is quoted by Sky Sports News as saying: "This is the fight that I've been aiming towards and it's one that I'm going to take with both hands. I'm 100% fit, 100% hungry and I'm good to go."
The winner of the fight is likely to face current belt holder Sakio Bika in the summer.
