Carl Frampton warns Jeremy Parodi that a sold-out Odyssey Arena will be a daunting prospect ahead of tonight's world-title eliminator.

Unbeaten super-bantamweight Carl Frampton has challenged Jeremy Parodi to engage in a toe-to-toe war when the two men contest a world-title eliminator in Belfast tonight.

Frampton will have home advantage in the Odyssey Arena showdown, with the winner in line to fight IBF champion Kiko Martinez, a man Frampton stopped in nine rounds earlier this year.

With 8,500 expectant fans behind him Frampton believes that Parodi should come forward and help produce an action-packed fight, but has vowed to emerge victorious regardless of his opponent's tactics.

He told BBC Sport: "It's amazing to be fighting in front of a sold-out arena. The atmosphere the last time was special against Kiko Martinez and I'm expecting it to be even better this time, there's even more people in.

"It's going to get hostile for Parodi, he would have never seen anything like it before.

"He's talking about that he wants to box me. If that's the case, I'll find a way to beat him, but I would like him to come and have a fight because that's going to make it more interesting and exciting for the fans."

The 26-year-old, who has won all of his 16 professional contests to date, weighed in under the 122lb pound bamtamweight limit yesterday with half-a-pound to spare.
