Eddie Hearn has offered Carl Frampton £1.5m to fight Scott Quigg at the Manchester Arena this summer.
WBA super bantamweight champion Quigg is eager to take on IBF champion Frampton on June 18.
Frampton is also keen on the bout, but Quigg is understood to have grown frustrated with the negotiations.
However, the fight could now be about to happen following Hearn's impressive offer to Frampton.
Hearn has repeatedly claimed that the fight needs to happen sooner rather than later in order to avoid disappointment among fans.
